Q: How long will my products stay fresh, and how should I store them?
A: Because our products are all natural, so are our preservatives, including vitamin E and rosemary extract. We recommend using your Hip & Chick products within 9-12 months of opening and keeping them stored at or below room temperature out of direct sunlight.In the rare instance you find that the freshness of one of our products is not to your liking, please contact us immediately. We will be happy to handle any issues on a case by case basis.
Q: Are your products tested on animals?
A: No way! We love our fur babies and because of that, all of our products are tested exclusively on our human friends and family! To further protect our four-legged friends, we vow never to sell to countries that require animal testing.Q: What is the burn life of your candles?
A: We find that our candles have a burn time of +/-Â 45 hours.Q: How do I clean and re-use my adorable candle jar?
A: When you get to the end of your candle, place the jar in the freezer. After a few hours, the leftover wax and wick can be chipped out with a butter knife. If there is more than a little bit of wax left, place your candle jar in a warm oven and allow the wax to liquefy, then dump the wax out, and wipe the jar clean with a disposable towel. At that point, you can get rid of any residue with soap and water or the dishwasher.We love using our recycled candle jars as cocktail tumblers and pen storage on our desks!
